This circuit provides an alternative usage of the popular 555 timer as an inverter gate used as a relaxation oscillator to generate the carrier signal. Add a small signal diode to create a heterodyne mixer to input the signal to be sent.

To remain within the specifications of part 15 of the FCC regulations keep the antenna under 3 meters (9 feet)
