Simple DC Motor Kit - Single KitThis kit is also available as a classroom bundle with enough components to support 20 students.
This project shows you how to construct a simple DC motor by making use of electromagnetic principles. It will demonstrate what happens when a wire carrying current is placed in a magnetic field. Anyone who has knowledge of the principles of electromagnetism will be able to see the equations in action. Nevertheless, the experience is equally valuable for those in lower division science classes; they will be able to experiment with different constructions, and eventually discover why one method worked better than another. Check out what others are saying about the Simple DC Motor project build!
Please note: Due to inventory packaging methods, you may receive more components than required for some products.
