Our favorite Maker Collin Cunninham shows us how easy it is to use surface mount devices. As you'll see in the video below he has tried many different methods for circuit building, but this is his first for using surface-mount parts. Many may balk at the idea of soldering the infamously tiny SMT or SMD packages, but once equipped with the right tools, and a bit of patience, you too can solder your own teeny-tiny circuitry.
