Forrest M. Mims III - Books and Projects
Forrest Mims has a base of enthusiastic, long-time followers. We heard from many customers that Forrest was a major electronics influence in their lives and that they still had his original books. Forrest may be best known for his creation of the Engineer's Mini-Notebook, a series of instructional books, which were first sold in Radio Shack stores. While Forrest's publications are too numerous to list here, we think Discover Magazine summed it up nicely when they named Forrest as one of the "50 Best Brains in Science" in 2008.
Brought to life from the pages of his famous books, the kit below teaches basic electronics principles while being fun and providing you with an entertaining device you built yourself.
