Electronics Component Catalog – Salutes Simple Design
Jameco Releases New Electronics Component CatalogBelmont, CA – Jameco Electronics releases a new electronic components catalog. The catalog features the early Transcontinental Airway System and praises simple and practical design.
The cover features a large concrete arrow that serviced as one of the ground based landmarks for the 1920s era Transcontinental Airway System. It is still located in St. George, Utah. This landmark in conjunction with candlepower beacons, served as the predecessor to radar and GPS technologies to help guide the burgeoning use of airplanes for airmail service.
"I think it was Leonardo da Vinci who said that 'simplicity is the ultimate sophistication' and we're reminded of that every day at Jameco," said Greg Harris, VP of Sales and Marketing, "While Jameco fully embraces advancing technologies we also see strong demand for many older electronic technologies."
Highlights of the catalog include a new selection of G5 Series high efficiency, no load power consumption power supplies by Mean Well, Field Programmable TTL Oscillators from Cardinal Components, Saleae Portable Logic Analyzers and a puzzler from renowned electronics author Forrest M. Mims III.
