Did you know that the first pinball game, then called Bagatelle, was first created by tilting a Billiard table in 18th century France?We learned a lot by visiting sites about Pinball History but also were sad to read that only one manufacturer is still manufacturing pinball machines today. While the machines themselves may have met their match from PlayStation and Xbox, the term "tilt" is well cemented in our language and is likely not to be forgotten anytime soon.

Other pinball games were called Bingo, Baffle Ball, and Bally Hoo. Bally Hoo was the first coin-operated machine.
According to Wikipedia - The origins of pinball are intertwined with the history of many other games. Games played outdoors by rolling balls or stones. The evolution of outdoor games finally led to indoor versions that could be played on a table, such as billiards, or on the floor of a pub, like bowling and shuffleboard. The tabletop versions of these games became the ancestors of modern pinball.
