The pocket-sized code-able BBC micro:bit is a microcontroller designed for all sorts of cool creations, from robots to musical instruments; the possibilities are endless. This little device has a boat-load of features including 25 red LED lights and skip songs on a playlist, detect motion and tell you which direction you're heading, and even use a low energy Bluetooth connection to interact with other devices and the Internet! that can flash messages, two programmable buttons that can be used to control games or pause.

Ideal for makers to get started creating BBC micro:bit projects and inventing solutions. You can also learn in a fun and creative way using Scratch Coding Cards (P/N: 2238071)

Note: Requires a USB micro-B cable (like P/N: 2274159 or similar) for programming purposes. If you are the DIY type, make your own battery box with one (1) 2xAAA battery holder (like P/N: 216292), one (1) 2-Position JST Connector Housing (P/N: 2234513), two (2) 2mm Crimp Terminals (P/N: 2234548) and 2x AAA batteries to power your BBC micro:bit when not connected to your computer. (All accessories are sold separately).
