Overview
The PQM100 series are high-performance, durable surge protective device (SPDs) with cutting-edge features that shields your facility's electrical equipment from lightning-induced power surges, utility power generation/distribution systems, and inductive load switching equipment. It is designed for large equipment applications (eg. HVAC), distribution panels, MCCs, branch panels, lighting panels, and service entrance applications.
The PQM100 is automatic in operation, resetting after activation to provide
continuous protection of electrical equipment. The standard series is UL Type 1 listed (automatically suitable for UL Type 2) and can be installed before or after the service equipment overcurrent device, with or without a dedicated circuit breaker for the SPD.
